Kevin Morrow

Co-Founder / Strategic Counsel

For over three decades, Kevin has brought depth, insight, and continuity to his work in financial services. Though no longer involved in day-to-day advising, he remains an active presence at Sonoma Allocations—offering seasoned guidance and strategic counsel drawn from a career built on long-standing client relationships and a thoughtful, values-driven approach.

Kevin began his career in 1987, spending his first decade in the insurance industry before transitioning into bank-based advising in Sonoma and Napa Counties. Over time, his practice grew through meaningful relationships and a steady commitment to helping families make confident financial decisions.

That foundation eventually led to the formation of Sonoma Allocations, a firm built on trust, collaboration, and multigenerational planning.

His roots run deep. Raised on a dairy farm in River Falls, Wisconsin, Kevin studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls before making his way to Sonoma County in the early 1980s. It was there that he discovered a passion for winemaking—and met Wendy, now his wife of more than 30 years. Together they share a full family life with their children: Kopavi, Rachel, and Dillon—as well as their grandson, Ben.

Kevin is also the winemaker and owner of Tara Bella Winery in the Russian River Valley, a boutique producer of award- winning Cabernet Sauvignon. Whether mentoring the team, tending the vineyard, or enjoying a good glass of wine with friends, he brings a calm presence and enduring perspective to every endeavor.

Beyond the firm, Kevin and Wendy are passionate travelers, always seeking new places, cultures, and experiences to explore together. He’s also an avid outdoorsman— whether hiking, golfing, camping, or catching a game. A proud Wisconsinite at heart, he’s a lifelong supporter and shareholder of the Green Bay Packers. His continued presence at Sonoma Allocations reflects what he’s always believed: that trust, legacy, and human connection are the most important returns of all.
